We finally got a pretty good snowstorm last week. I was beginning to wonder if we would. We keep hearing about all these other places getting dumped on and we really hadn't had much at all. Even this wasn't a huge amount compared to some storms we've had, but it got the kids a day off school and some fun in the snow. Even Taylor went out for awhile to play in the white stuff. He came inside after a bit and got the camera to take a picture of his snow sculpture. Instead of a snowman or other usual creation, he had built his version of a "natural" arch.
It was pretty cool to see in person. Sadly, it proved to be not quite as able to stand the test of time(less than 48 hours), the elements (even winter sunshine can be pretty warm), or snowboots (of an exuberant child running right through the middle of it) as the real natural arches.

Very cool arch. None of the girls' snow creations last long with Bentley around either. He gets this look and says, "I'm gonna kill it!" and he does.
I am so ready for spring!
Looks very good! I just look at the snow from the window, no playing in it for me!
