New Do's

After a very sweaty soccer game the other day in which Kendall's hair wound up looking much like it did for his crazy hair day, he decided it was time for his summertime buzz cut. Spencer, who just had his hair cut by me only a couple of weeks ago, watched Kalen transforming Kendall's hair and decided he wanted his cut just like that. Nevermind the hour and a half that I painstakingly cut his hair with the scissors because he was terrified of the buzzer. Apparently seeing how easy Kendall made it look was all the coaxing Spencer needed to overcome his fear. He climbed right up on the stool and within 10 minutes, he and Kendall had matching hair. Here are my cute bald-ish boys: Lynnsey also decided that it was time for her annual chopping off of the hair and this year she said she wanted it "really super duper short". I do not cut girl hair and Kalen definitely does not cut girl hair so we paid a visit to the salon. She ended up with a really adorable "really super duper short" cut that we just love! I tried to get it from some different angles but the picture of the back didn't turn out. Hopefully you get the idea anyway. It is the cut that seems to be most popular these days where it is shorter in the back and longer around the face. I think it is a great look for Lynnsey and it is SOOOOO easy to do her hair now. No more tears as I fight through the tangles every morning. I think she'll eventually miss all the things we could do with her long hair but for now Lynnsey adores her new look.
