We had a lovely Christmas this year at home. We enjoyed our brand new 7.5 foot artificial Christmas tree that fits our tall ceilings better than our little 6 ft. one did. (The old one found a new home at the sister missionaries apartment!) It was fun to do our old traditions like shopping for a new tree ornament (we bought a musical note to commemorate all of the concerts we went to in 2013 and in celebration of Lynnsey starting band), making homemade chicken noodle soup on Christmas Eve, baking lots of goodies (and trying out some delicious new recipes), listening to lots and lots of Christmas music, eating omelets on Christmas morning, and later a delicious ham dinner, and enjoying all the gifts we gave and received.
