Two Front Teeth

Lynnsey was really, really hoping that she would be without her two front teeth for Christmas so she could sing the Chipmunk song. It didn't happen. But last week she finally lost her first top front tooth. The other one was loose but still not ready to come out. Then the very next day as she was somersaulting around the room, Lynnsey's knee came up as her head came down and the two collided solidly. After we got the bleeding stopped and assessed the damage we found that her remaining front tooth had been knocked partially out. One side was still stuck tight. But we knew it needed to come out though since it wouldn't do to send her to school like that (if she closed her mouth over the tooth, she started bleeding again), so after a traumatic tooth-pulling session, Lynnsey cheered up when she realized she could now sing the song. Yes, Christmas is over 11 months away, but still, this is worth it to watch. I especially love her high-pitched chipmunk voice. And the fact that she overcame her usual bashfulness to sing this for everyone.

I couldn't get the video to work:(
I'll keep trying.

Cecily has been yanking on her other sort of loose front tooth ever since yesterday when I told her Lynnsey has both of hers out!

I'll check the video again and see if there is a problem with it. For some reason I have a really hard time posting videos but this one initially seemed to work when I uploaded it. It won't work on my home computer though so I'll have to check it at Kalen's office. Can anyone else get it to work?

What a cutie! I had my 2 front teeth missing for a Christmas when I was younger and my mom tried to get me to sing that song. I'm pretty sure I didn't do it. :)

That is so CUTE! I wish she and Nina could be friends. They'd love each other, I think. Nina still hasn't lost either of her top teeth. My kids are so slow about that...
