It is unbelievable to me that it has been seven years since my little Lynnsey Lulu was born! Unbelievable. Really, really unbelievable.
She is growing more and more beautiful every day and we love having her in our family. Lynnsey is in first grade this year and is loving learning. She is especially fond of math! (She did not get that gene from me.) She also loves to write. She is always writing something: stories, poems, notes to friends and family. In fact for the past few nights she has left a little note for me at the top of the stairs where I'll be sure to see it. It is always accompanied by a pen or pencil and a blank piece of paper and a request that I write a note back to her and put it under her pillow. It is very cute and I'm getting a fun collection of little treasures to keep and read again someday. Her note last night read as follows:

Dear Mommy,
I am exsided for my Brthday. I wundr what I am going to get.
I am going to mack you a presint to.
Snd Bak a note put it undr my pelow.
She also is a major crafter and is constantly working on making scrapbook pages and cards and so many other creations. She is always asking me when we can have a scrapbooking night and she loves using up all my supplies when we finally do make the time. She is a major girly girl and loves pink and purple, princesses, and all things High School Musical. She also is getting into the sleepover scene and is beginning to spend many Friday nights away from home watching HSM and giggling with her best friend.
Lynnsey is growing up WAY too fast! I find myself constantly longing for her baby days while at the same time looking forward to all the days that are coming. Happy birthday sweet girl. I hope you have a fantastic day and an exciting and happy year to come.
P.S. I still haven't blogged about our Christmas and New Years adventures so look for a very lengthy picture-heavy post to come soon!

Happy birthday Lynnsey! You are so very much like Cecily...it is no wonder that you two are such good friends. We hope you had a really wonderful birthday!
How does she get so much prettier when she started out so pretty?? Those notes are the sweetest thing ever. I wonder what my chances of getting a response would be if I tried that with Mitch.
So cute! I still think the picture is wonderful that she drew for myself and Rebecca! I am still trying to find the time to blog about our Christmas, New Year, as well as Rebecca being 2 months! I am way behind!
