Remember the poem that I posted a few months ago that Kendall wrote about wild horses? Well, at the end of the school year he and his reading teacher decided to submit it to a kid's poetry publication and see if they might accept it and publish it in their latest book. The other day we got an envelope in the mail addressed to Kendall. He saw the return address and knew what it was. He ripped it open and read it quickly before jumping up and down and announcing: "They said yes!" He's very excited. We're pretty excited too that we get to spend $22 to purchase the book! Ashley and Adrian both have been published in books and I fortunately have a copy of each book. Amy, you are lucky because I spent more than $22.00 on them. It was more like $30.00!! I will cherish them forever though!!

It's a book of poetry called Pine Tree Poetry. The company puts out a new volume every year and all the entries are written by school age kids.
That is so EXCITING! Was it produced by a company called Creative Communications? Jessi worked for this company and they publish children's poetry.
