We had a busy Easter weekend this year. Our soccer season officially began the same day that the Primary Activity Day group had planned an Easter activity/craft morning followed by the baptism of one of the Primary kids and occurring simultaneously as the Eagle Scout project of one of the young men from the branch. So Kalen took Lynnsey and Spencer to soccer and he had to coach Kaya's team without Kaya who decided since she helped plan the activity she should be there to participate in it. We had a HUGE turnout for that and the kids all had a fun egg hunt and made some crafts. Then we stayed for Breckon's baptism which was really nice and then since Kendall was there helping with the Eagle project, we wound up staying to help with that afterward too. James was making a bunch of flannel baby blankets to donate to a hospital and Kaya thought is was super fun to learn how to sew. She and her friend took turns stitching down each side of their blanket with the sewing machine. It was fun for me too. I haven't sewn in years and it was kind of cool to give that a try again!

That afternoon we had our traditional egg hunt in our back yard.
Easter Sunday was really nice with a great sacrament meeting and all of our Easter lessons in classes. And of course afterward I made the kids pose for pictures. As usual, it was nearly impossible to get a decent group shot but we sure laughed our heads off trying to make it work.
