Is It My Turn?

Everywhere we look there are sick people! Schools are closing right and left and we've even had Lynnsey home this past week with the flu (we think just the regular kind...). But with so much junk going around, the stake presidency decided that we should cancel church this Sunday as well. I explained the situation to the kids and told them that because so many people were getting sick that we would not be having church. Spencer took the news well and went off to play. Then today he asked me, "Is tomorrow the day that I'm gonna be sick?"

I read this post last night and thought, thank goodness it is not our turn to be sick. About 20 minutes later Bentley woke up throwing up and he threw up all night long. I am getting it too.

I guess you just never know when your turn will come, Spencer!

Yeah, talk about the irony. Spencer woke up this morning with a cough and runny nose and by this evening his temp was up to 102. I asked him if anything hurt. He said "yes" and I said "what hurts?". He said in a sad voice: "Everfing". Poor kid! And then he said: "Well, they did cancel church today."

I think we are all saying that unfortunately.
We haven't had the sickness at our house yet...
