March

Well, March was true to the old saying and came in like a lion but then it also went out like one too. With a few warmer days that got our hopes up in between. Gotta love Michigan!

We had a busy month with the usual stuff--school, church, etc. Taylor has been settling in and getting acclimated to normal life again. He got two jobs right off the bat--his old job at the Bohm Theatre which he loved going back to. And he also got a substitute library assistant job that he so far has only really had to go to about once a week so it is very part time. Kendall got a role in the high school Les Miserables play and has after school rehearsals every day but is totally loving the experience. He has several ensemble scenes and also plays the part of one of the students names Courfeyrac. He has a few solo lines as well!

We had a really fun invitation to go to Mikel's birthday party (the little boy I babysit). He had it at the fire station so we were all able to go with the exception of Kendall who was sick. The kids had a great time exploring the ambulances and fire trucks and we even got to go on a ride around town in a firetruck.

Spencer loved the mascot head!

Kendall and his classmates were able to go to their State Solo and Ensemble. They did a phenomenal job once again and were awarded a 1 again!

Two of the kids are graduating this year but Kendall's friend Julia is a junior with Kendall and they are planning on putting together another group for next year.
We're so proud of these kids and so grateful that Kendall is able to have such great high school experiences!
