We've actually had some snow since they bloomed but they are hardy little flowers and keep on blooming every day. It cheers me up on cold days and gives me hope that spring really is around the corner.Sunday, February 19, 2012
Groundhog Day
While lots of people were eagerly awaiting the new of whether or not the groundhog saw his shadow on Feb. 2nd, we had something else popping up from the ground. Our winter has been so odd this year and one day in January, we happened to notice that our little spring flowers that typically appear toward the end of March or early April, were coming up much earlier than usual.
We've actually had some snow since they bloomed but they are hardy little flowers and keep on blooming every day. It cheers me up on cold days and gives me hope that spring really is around the corner.

We have had NO SNOW this year! I'm actually kind of disappointed...I like at least one good snow storm for the kids to play in. I'm not ready for Spring until after I get sick of winter...and we haven't had winter yet...still feels like Fall.
