This is What Keeps Me Couponing

I am not what you would call an extreme couponer. Even if it were possible, I think I would burn out SO fast if that was all I did in my day. However, I do use coupons A LOT and sometimes remember the days fondly when I would just go into the store and buy what I needed and not have to take the time to make an extensive list before hand, find the coupons that go with the sales, and then spend extra time in the store to make sure I'm getting all the deals I had planned for. It does take a reasonable amount of work. But when I can come out of a store with all of these items for a total of $4.21, yeah, that's pretty amazing.

(Just for the record, my total without coupons/sales, etc. would have been $31.29. And that is why I will continue to use coupons!)

That is an awsome difference. I like it. I need to use coupons more. I am a great bargain shopper and wont buy clothes unless they are on sale. I know which stores have what I need for cheaper, but I definately should use more coupons.

I have only been using coupons when I go to costco! It is awesome the amount that I can save with them!

Amy, do you have Rite Aid by you?

If so, I am going to take you next time I am there. You will be AMAZED! (I'm getting way better at it and it doesn't take me too long). Have you started with the Video Values and on-line stuff? You are in for some fun!

I can't tell you what a rush it is to walk out of Rite Aid with 3 bags of diapers, 3 boxes of wipes, hair ties, and all the kids easter candy for just a few bucks.

Alison,
I bought this stuff at Rite Aid! You're right, it is fun. I just started with the video values stuff. I wish it were a little closer though--I have to drive to Marshall so I don't make it over every week. I think it's really fun to watch the cashiers as I'm checking out and they see how little I have to pay and then watch that big long receipt full of +Up rewards print out for my next purchaase.

That's awesome Amy! They do double coupons at some grocery stores here, so it helps keep the cost down. I haven't tried the deals at Rite Aid, I'll have to go.

I WISH they did double coupons here! Every once in awhile they run a promotion for a day or two, but it is very rare. I could save SO much more if they did.
