When I was uploading the photos that I took from Lynnsey's trip from my mom's camera I found this one of Kendall that she had taken from his art show last week, so I thought I'd add it too. This was a huge deal for him. He has had the same art teacher since Kindergarten and every year they have an art show that she organizes with various kids artwork on display at the local library. But she has never chosen any of Kendall's art in spite of the fact that he does some really great work! He has always been a little sad about not being chosen, so this year when we got the official letter from the school telling us that he'd have something on display, he was SO excited! We were invited to the special "families only" reception that they had for it and he was just so happy to be a part of it. Unfortunately, you can't actually see his painting because it was at the very top and I guess Nana couldn't quite get Kendall and the picture together, so you'll just have to take my word for it, that it was a masterpiece worthy of the Albion Public Schools annual art show!

Good job, Kendall! That is very special to be one of the "chosen ones". Isabel's school art show (documented on my blog lately) has one item on display from each child, but the art teachers selects extra special art to frame and display in a special "gallery". So far we've never been chosen for that! So I"m very impressed!
I tagged you on my blog, by the way!
Okay, Amy, this makes 3 times you've been tagged, so you definitely have to do it.
By the way, I did take a photo of Kendall's art. I will try and post it on my blog next time so everyone can see how artistic he is.
Great job Kendall! I can't wait to see your art work. Congratulations.
